Walt was such a kind and caring man. He was one of the first neighbors that welcomed us to the neighborhood. We enjoyed hearing his stories about the "olden" days and Justin loved helping him with the yard. Every Halloween he would take pictures of the kids on his step and print it out for us. He will always have a special place in our hearts. Our sympathy to Terri and David. Kristine, Jeremy, Justin and Miranda Bolte

I will miss Walter. I met him at Hammond Henry Hospital and we had many conversations about WW II and his service to our Country. I don't know how many people know this but Walter was a Captain in the U.S. Army Air Force. He was a Lead Crew Navigator and flew 38 missions over Europe. Last October, Walter was able to go to the World War II Memorial in D.C. and it was an honor to be on the same flight. It was an unbelievable experience that I'll always cherish.

Walter was a great man. It was an honor to get to meet him and help him with his computer/printer issues during his stay at Hammond-Henry Hospital. He will be missed.
