Terri Sue (Gibbons) Selman, 56, of Bishop Hill went to be with her Lord on March 23, 2016 from Hillcrest Home, rural Geneseo. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28th at Stackhouse-Moore Funeral & Cremation Services, Cambridge, IL. Pastor Tim Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded and private family interment will be in Bishop Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to her family.
Terri Sue Gibbons was born December 19, 1959 in Moline the daughter of Jerry A. and Violet E. (Jones) Gibbons. She graduated from Cambridge High School in 1977. On January 7, 1978, she married Keith A. Selman in Osco, IL. He survives. Terri had worked as a cook at Knox College, Hillcrest Home, Good Samaritan Village and the Henry County Jail. She had been a co-owner of the Speakeasy in Cambridge and was manager at Colony Store in Bishop Hill.
Terri had been active in Osco Community Church and Edgewater Baptist Church and in Junior Choir. She loved Cooking and Gardening and especially her Children.
Survivors include her husband, Keith; son, Brandon Selman; daughter, Trudy Selman, both at home; God children, Craig Johnson, Galesburg, Jenny McMurl, Knoxville, and Andy Johnson, Granite City, IL; her parents, Jerry and Violet Gibbons, Andover; brother, Gary (Linda) Gibbons, McMinnville, OR, and sisters, Carrie (Mike) Floto, Cambridge, and Sherri (Marty) Nauman, Carlton, OR. Other survivors include, brothers-in-law, Dennis (Cindy) Selman, Belton, TX, and Kevin (Carol) Selman, Minooka, IL, She was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry A. Gibbons, Jr.
