Shirley Notschaele, 82, of Princeton, IL died Monday, May 28, 2012 at Proctor Hospital, Peoria. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 31st at Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services, Sheffield. Burial will be in St. Patrick''s Cemetery, Sheffield. Rev. Michael Hodge will officiate. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to her family.
Shirley Ann Croegaert was born November 13, 1929 in Annawan, IL, the daughter of Henry and Fannie Mae (Miller) Croegaert, Jr. She was educated in Annawan schools and was united in marriage to John "Jack" Tunney and later Howard Notschaele. He died in 1999. Shirley was a care giver for young and old and had worked at Harper-Wyman, Princeton. She loved gospel music, playing cards, collecting cardinals, and watching rolle bolle. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Mineral.
Survivors include her sons, James (Lisa) Tunney, Lewistown, IL, and Eddy (Marsha) Notschaele, Princeton, IL; daughter, Cheryl Notschaele Princeton, IL; and one granddaughter, Katie Tunney, Moline, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard; and many aunts and uncles.
