Sandra L. Palmer was born December 11, 1948 in Geneseo, IL the daughter of Arley John and Glenna (Duhme) Palmer. She was educated in Cambridge area schools. Sandra was a self-employed painter and wallpaper hanger in the area for 15 years. She also helped her husband with farm work and their race horses, continuing to care for the horses until Jerry sold his race horse business. Her hobbies included collecting metal lunch boxes, antiques, fishing and camping.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry, a son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Laura Gibson, Hopedale, IL, two grandchildren, Cody and Lindsey Gibson, mother, Glenna Palmer, Cambridge, a sister and brother-in-law, Maureen and Steve Meyer, North Liberty, IA, a brother and sister-in-law, Kirk and Niki Palmer, Cambridge, several nieces and nephews. Her father and her daughter, Marnie Gibson, preceded her in death.
