Ronald Daughtery

Ronald E. Daughtery 68 of Sheffield, IL was called home to the Lord Saturday May 4th at 1:00am at home with his wife by his side. He was born Dec. 5th 1944 in Centralia, IL to David & Edna (Ring) Daughtery. He was survived by "the love of his life" (DeAnn). Other survivors include his "very special" daughter Edna Jo Espino (Hugo) Hooppole, IL; four step children Jeff Ferris (IN), Jeremy Ferris (MO), JoLynn Howland (TX), and Levi Deline (MO); four precious grandchildren Maggie Jo, Tacho, Sadie, and Julissa; five step grandchildren, Chloe, Kiley, Savanna, Tristen, and Brody; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by four sisters Norita (IL), Lena (MO), Sharon (IL), and Sarah (CA). Preceding him in death are one son; four sisters, Marie, Ester, Jeannie, and Susie; and three brothers, David, Max, and Jim.

Ron''s love for his family was undeniable. He was a friend to all. Ron''s love of life, the songs he sang, the way he would dance across the room will always be remembered. Ron began his morning with cup of coffee a dance move or two; he may have even sung a song. Ron lived every moment of every day... .Forever Young.

There will be a "Celebration" for Ron''s life on Saturday, May 25th, 2013 from 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Community Center, Mineral, IL. Memorials may be made to help offset the funeral expenses at: Ronald Daughtery Memorial Fund, % People National Bank, Sheffield, Il 61361
