Robert "Jack" Hyett

Robert W. “Jack” Hyett, 75, of Annawan died on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the Kewanee Care Nursing Home, Kewanee.  Memorial services will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, October 16th at Stackhouse-Moore Funeral & Cremation Services, Annawan.  Rev. Dan Wright will officiate.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service beginning at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to Annawan-Alba Rescue Squad or to Alzheimer’s Association.

Jack was born June 22, 1941 in Monmouth, IL the son of Wayne and Alice Mae (McNall) Hyett.  He graduated from Joy High School in 1958.  Jack served in the U.S Army.  On July 6, 1968 he married Pamela Ouart at Fairview Church in Annawan Township, Illinois.  She survives.  Jack loved sports, especially the Cubs and the Bears.  He had also enjoyed riding motorcycles in his earlier years.

Survivors include his wife, Pam, a son, Matthew Hyett, Annawan, a sister Ruth Ann Wakeland, Long Grove, IA and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Hyett and his mother, Alice Mae Marshall and a sister, Peggy Carrington.
