Richard J. Stotmeister, 80 of East Moline, formerly of Geneseo died Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Trinity, Rock Island. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wed. Nov. 13th at Concordia Lutheran Church, Geneseo with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in North Cemetery, Geneseo. Rev. Stephen Mueller will officiate. Memorials may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church, Geneseo. Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services, Geneseo is assisting the family with arrangements.
Richard was born August 27, 1933 in Geneseo the son of Bernard and Grace (Cewe) Stotmeister. He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Charlotte Stotmeister, Witchita, KS and Clara Ann Bentley, Mesa, AZ; a sister-in-law, Ruby Stotmeister, Butler, MO and several nieces and nephews. His parents, brothers, Bernard and Donald and sisters, Marilyn and Delma preceded him in death.
