Ralph Monroe Sharpe, 89, of Tunica, MS, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010, at his home. Funeral services were held Wednesday in Mississippi and a graveside committal services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 4th, at Rosedale Cemetery, Cambridge. There is no visitation. Stackhouse-Moore, Cambridge, is assisting the family with local arrangements.
Mr. Sharpe was born July 12, 1921 in Poinsette Co., Arkansas. His marriage to Florence Louise Seaton took place on October 19, 1947 in Chicago. She passed away January 23, 2005. Mr. Sharpe was a retired Agricultural Aviator and an avid golfer
Survivors include: sons; Ralph Monroe Sharpe Jr. of Greentown, Ohio, Shawnee Lee Sharpe of Tunica, MS grandchildren: Aaron Hunter Floyd Sharpe, Jonathan Thomas Seaton Sharpe, Joseph Brent Monroe Sharpe, James Michael Taylor Sharpe, Tracy Kalmar, Ralph Monroe Sharp III, Reginald James Sharpe, Valerie June Mott, Brian Sharpe, Greg Sharpe, Jeffrey Sharpe, Burt Sharpe, George Sharpe, Aaron Sharpe, and great grandchildren: Amber Phillips, Brant Phillips, Alexander Kalmar, Christine Mott, Adam Kalmar, Ryan Kalmar, Shelby Sharpe, R.J. Sharpe, and Zachary Sharpe.
