Phyllis Sullivan

Phyllis M. Sullivan, 79, of Cambridge, died Friday, June 14, 2013, at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 18th, at the Cambridge Chapel of Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services. Rev. Gene Meyers will officiate. Burial will be at Rosedale Cemetery, Cambridge. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer''s Association.

Phyllis Hunter was born January 21, 1934 in Lake City, Arkansas, the daughter of Eric "Joe" and Oneta L. Bolin Hunter. She was educated in Paragould, AR. Her marriage to Lyle B. Sullivan took place on May 6, 1976 in Las Vegas, NV. He died May 8, 2004. Phyllis was last employed at John Deere in East Moline. She and Lyle spent their retirement wintering in Arizona and raising and showing Appaloosa and Quarter horses. Her memberships included the Henry County Farm Bureau, the AARP, and the American Quarter Horse Association, and the Appaloosa Horse Association.

Those surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard and Karen Clark, Coal Valley, Darryl Clark, Cambridge, and a step daughter and her husband, Diane and Jerry Stoker, Brighton, CO. Other survivors include three grandchildren, Dustin Clark, Cambridge, Sarah Clark, Carbondale, IL, Chris Clark, Ashland, NC, two step granddaughters, Anita Stoker, Henderson, CO, Annette (Casey) Andersen, Henderson, a great granddaughter, Ciara Lee Clark, Cambridge, two step great grandchildren, Reece and Kaitlyn Andersen, both of Henderson, and special friends, the "Cambridge Mafia". Her parents, her husband, a son, Wayne Clark, and a grandson, Marcus Clark, preceded her in death.
