N. Catherine "Katie" Hamrick

N. Catherine “Katie” Hamrick, 94, of Geneseo died on Tuesday, June 04, 2019 at Heartland Health Care, Moline.  As per her request her body was donated to Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois.  No services are planned.  Interment will be at a later date in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield, IL.  Stackhouse-Moore Funeral & Cremation Services are assisting with arrangements.

Katie was born January 29, 1925 in Carthage, IL the daughter of Aubrey and Nina M. (Timberlake) Hamrick.  Katie graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign and then worked as a secretary there for several years before working for the Physical Plant as a custodian until retiring.  She moved to Geneseo in 2005 and was a member of First United Methodist Church, Geneseo as well as the U.M.W. at the church.
