Michelle A. Stach, 56, of Cambridge, died Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 7th, at the Cambridge Lutheran Church. Rev. Randall Swanson will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Cambridge Chapel of Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services. Cremation will take place following the service and a private graveside service will be held on Wednesday at Rosedale Cemetery, Cambridge. Memorials may be made to the Michelle Stach Memorial Fund.
Michelle Ann Stach was born November 14, 1958 in Geneseo, the daughter of Stanley and Marilyn Vincent Stach. She was educated in Cambridge schools and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1977. Her marriage to Roy Hunsaker took place on December 4, 1981 in Wichita Falls, Texas. They divorced in 1995. After living in Texas for several years, Michelle returned to Cambridge in 2004. She was currently employed at the Kwik Shop in Cambridge. Michelle enjoyed her pets, her children, and her grandchildren. She liked traveling and sightseeing.
Those surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Jackie Monroe, Kewanee, Maryann and Patrick Sharp, Cambridge, and Christine Melton, Troy, Ohio, eight grandchildren, Destinie, Livia, Jacklyn, Sarah, Ethan, Robert, Sebastian, and Labran. Other survivors include two sisters and a brother-in-law, Roselyn and Dan Maeltzer, Osco, and Paula Stach, Cambridge, and a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Julie Stach, Cambridge. Her parents and a brother, Gary, preceded her in death.
