Mary M. Sullivan, 76, of Kewanee, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 24 th , at the Cambridge Chapel of Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services. Rev. John Burns will officiate. Burial will be at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial may be made to the Mary Sullivan Memorial Fund.
Mary Mildred Mack was born July 11, 1937 in Rock Island, the daughter of Louis and Elizabeth Grace Schneider Mack. She was educated in Rock Island schools. Her marriage to Andrew L. Sullivan took place on June 3, 1961 in Moline. He died March 22, 1988. Mary was a homemaker and an avid reader. She also enjoyed crocheting and shopping.
Those surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Deanna and Harry Mosier, Kewanee, Kellie Sullivan, Kewanee, three sons and a daughter-in-law, Patrick and Cyndi Sullivan, Moline, Michael Sullivan, Andover, and Sean Sullivan, Cambridge. Other survivors include 18 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a brother, Lou Mack, Portland, Oregon. Her parents, her husband, and two brothers, Jack and James Mack, preceded her in death.
