Mary Mae Reilly, 92, formerly of Cambridge, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Cedarhurst Memory Care, Moline. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 3rd, at the Cambridge Chapel of Stackhouse-Moore Funeral & Cremation Services. Rev. John Knueppel will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Cambridge. Visitation will be from Noon to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Mary Mae Reilly Memorial Fund.
Mary Mae Stach was born November 18, 1929, in Cambridge, the daughter of George E. and Laura E. Whipple Stach. She was educated in Cambridge schools. Her marriage to Harvey L. Robinson took place on October 8, 1948. She later married Wilbur F. Reilly on May 14, 1966, in Cambridge. He passed away on July 15, 2011.
She was employed as a waitress at the Cambridge Cafe for many years and then worked as a cashier at Wayne's Super Value in Cambridge until retiring in 1995. Mary Mae was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cambridge, and a former member of Valley View Country Club, Cambridge, and the Geneseo Moose Lodge 990. Her hobbies were bowling, golfing, and playing cards.
Those surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Harvey and Kathy Robinson, Orion, grandsons, Christopher (Lindsay) Robinson, Geneseo, David (Jennifer) Robinson, Reynolds, great-grandsons, Tristan Robinson, and Blake Robinson, sisters, Dorothy Yarger, and Cleus Brocket, both of Cambridge. Her parents, her husband, Wilbur, a sister, Bernadine Lief, and seven brothers, Gerald, Arnold, Berwyn, Milford, Stanley, Stuart, and Harlan Stach, preceded her in death.
