Lorraine Eastman

November 9, 1939 — December 10, 2016

Lorraine A. Eastman, 77, of Buda died on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton.  A Celebration of her Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17th at Sheffield United Methodist Church, Sheffield, IL.  Rev. Terry Lancaster will officiate.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church.  Memorials may be made to her family at P.O. Box 454 Sheffield,, Il 61361   Stackhouse-Moore Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.

Lorraine Ann LeVangie was born on November 9, 1939 in Weymouth, Massachusetts the daughter of Richard and Ada LeVangie.  She married Tom Bell on June 2, 1959 in Massachusetts.  She later married Howard Eastman in 1975 in Weymouth, Mass. He died in 1995 Lorraine had worked for 25 years as a Home Health Aid in Mass.  She had also driven a school bus for several years.

She was a member of Sheffield United Methodist Church.  She had coached her children’s softball teams,  she enjoyed the beach, reading books, watching movies, eating out, swimming at the Metro Center with her friends, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include a son, Donald (Nancy) Bell, Sheffield, two daughters, Wendy Bell, and Anne Bell, both of Buda; grandchildren, Julie (Russell) Boomsma, Richard (Kristen) Bell, Savanna Bell, Derek Hart, and Sam Hart; three great grandchildren, Kynlee and Brooklyn Boomsma and Emelia Bell.  She is also survived by a brother, Richard (Helen) LeVangie in Florida; and two sisters, Ada Madden, in Mississippi, and Margaret (Fred) Pascar in Rhode Island.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two great granddaughters, Kylee Boomsma and Grace Bell.
