Lori Louise Doyle

Lori L. Doyle, 57, of Cambridge, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island. Cremation has been accorded and a private graveside committal service will be held on June 19th at Rosedale Cemetery, Cambridge. Rev. David Joyce will officiate. Stackhouse-Moore Funeral and Cremation Services, Cambridge, is assisting the family with the arrangements. Memorials may be made to Abilities Plus in Kewanee.

Lori Louise Rapp was born June 20, 1962 in Moline, the daughter of Gary and Donna Williams Rapp. She attended Galva area schools and graduated from Galva High School in 1980. Lori attended Illinois State University in Normal and received a Bachelor Degree in Education in 1984. Her marriage to Sean Doyle took place on June 25, 1983 in Bishop Hill. They later divorced.

She was a junior high school teacher in New Mexico for twelve years. Lori returned to the Galva area and taught Special Education at Galva High School. In 2009, she began working for Abilities Plus in Kewanee has been there since that time.

Those surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Kellie and Kevin Meyn, and a granddaughter, Ember Meyn, all of Plano, Illinois, her mother, Donna Rapp and a brother, Robert Rapp, both of Cambridge, two nieces, Chyenne Rapp, Rock Island, and Tori Rapp, Moline. Other survivors include several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her father and her grandparents preceded her in death.
