Lawrence “Larry” P. Fronk, 63, of Annawan, died Friday, May 31, 2013, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 5th, at the Annawan Chapel of Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services. Rev. Terry Lancaster will officiate. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, rural Annawan. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Annawan-Alba Rescue Squad.
Larry was born August 5, 1949 in Geneseo, the son of Eugene and Daisy Eggimann Fronk. He was educated in Annawan schools and was a lifelong resident of Annawan. Larry had farmed with his dad and brother for many years. He later worked for the Village of Annawan. Larry and his brother had opened graves in Annawan, Fairview, and Sacred Heart Cemeteries for many years. This was a job they had inherited from their uncles. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved his family.
Those surviving are his sisters and a brother-in-law, Shirley Wancket, Annawan, Dorothy Ellen Sherbeyn, Atkinson, and Barbara and Robert Lee, Milan. Other survivors include special niece and nephew, Vicki Krantz and Lloyd Fronk, Jr., several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. His parents, two brothers, Lloyd and Gary, and a sister, Geraldine Boswell, preceded him in death.
