Larry Blair

Larry W. Blair, 51, of Geneseo died at his home on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23rd at Concordia Lutheran Church, Geneseo. Rev. John Wohlrabe will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Geneseo. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services, 225 E. Park, St. Geneseo as well as one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the church. Memorials may be made to Geneseo Humane Society or Concordia Lutheran Church.

Larry William Blair was born July 13, 1960 in Geneseo the son of Francis and Joyce (Korthals) Blair. He graduated from J.D. Darnell High School in 1978. Larry owned and operated Geneseo Plumbing. Prior to that he had worked at Becker and Becker Plumbing and Heating, Geneseo.

Memberships include Concordia Lutheran Church, Geneseo and the N.R.A. Larry loved hunting, looking for arrowheads and the outdoors.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Vince Boone, Geneseo; 2 grandchildren, Braxton and Cullen Boone; his mother, Joyce Blair, Geneseo; brother, Rick Blair, Atkinson; sisters, Cheryl Kepner, and Kathy Blair, both of Geneseo; and two nephews and two nieces. He was preceded in death by his Father, Daughter, Amber, brother Ronnie and a nephew.
