Kyle Bobinski

April 15, 1966 — October 4, 2016

Kyle V. Bobinski, 50, of Andover, died Tuesday, October 4, 2016, in the emergency room of UnityPoint Health-Trinity Rock Island.  Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 11th, at the Cambridge Chapel of Stackhouse-Moore Funeral & Cremation Services.  Rev. Paul Benevides will officiate.  Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Cambridge.  Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the Kyle Bobinski Memorial Fund.

Kyle Vincent Bobinski was born April 15, 1966 in Moline, the son of Frank "Bo" and Judith L. Waymack Bobinski.  He was educated in Cambridge schools and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1984.  He served in the U.S. Navy after high school.  His marriage to Dawn Reed took place on October 1, 1993 in Cambridge.  Kyle had worked for the last eight years as a machinist at the Rock Island Arsenal.

He did volunteer work for foster children and was Director of the Royal Family Kids Camp through the Assembly of God Church in Geneseo.  Kyle also served as a counselor for T.R.A.C.  He enjoyed coaching sports for his children and grandchildren and tinkering with his Ford tractors.

Those surviving are his wife, Dawn, a son and daughter-in-law, Guy and Megan Frison, Bettendorf, a daughter and son-in-law, Darcy and Jason Franks, Cambridge, six grandchildren, Cole, Cade, and Clara Franks, and Addison, Jaxson, and Tyler Frison.  Other survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Roy Shaw, Cambridge, a brother and sister-in-law, Mitch and Donna Bobinski, Charlotte, NC, a niece, Alesha Shaw, and nephews, Jackson and Joshua Bobinski.  His parents preceded him in death.
