Kenneth E. “Casey” Creglow, 90, of Kewanee, formerly of Galva, died on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Toulon Health Care Center. Memorial visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9th at the Galva Chapel of Stackhouse-Moore Funeral & Cremation Services 117 E. Division, Galva. Cremation rites have been accorded. Private services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Kewanee Food Pantry.
Casey was born Feb. 7, 1926 in Ipava, IL the son of Floyd and Hattie (Jones) Creglow. He graduated from Ipava High School. Casey served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. during World War II. On June 10, 1950 he married Rosalie Dean in Ipava. She survives.
Casey had worked as a mechanic for John Deere for 22 years until retiring in 1987.
Casey loved boating, the Mississippi river, fishing and he enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include his wife, Rosalie; a daughter Brenda Newman, Galva; a son, Randal (Barbara) Creglow, Altona, IL; five grandchildren, Trisha (Hank) Dailey, Dawn Ahlberg, Melissa (Ron) Coaster, Aaron Ahlberg, and Zack (Tessa) Creglow and five great grandchildren, Kalyn Dailey, Colyn Dailey, Talyssa Closen, Devan Sterling, and Taryn Ahlberg. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Jean Finch and a brother in childhood
