Keith E. DeBlieck, 85, of Geneseo died on Saturday, December 08, 2018 at Good Samaritan Village, Geneseo. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12th at Stackhouse-Moore Funeral & Cremation Services, 225 E. Park St., Geneseo. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 on Thursday at Spring Creek Cemetery (Blue Light Cemetery) rural Atkinson. Deacon Harley Chaffee will officiate with military rites by Geneseo VFW. Memorials may be made to Arthritis Foundation or Henry County Humane Society, Geneseo.
Keith was born June 29, 1933 in Geneseo the son of Edward B. and Moneta N. (Keegan) DeBlieck. Keith graduated from J.D. Darnell High School, Geneseo in 1951. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955. On Sept. 17. 1956 he married Janet Paxson in Kansas City, MO. She died on July 18, 2013.
Keith had worked for Gilbert Pritchard Implement, Blackhawk Foundation and Clyde Johnson Trucking before owning and operating DeBlieck Trucking in Geneseo for many years. Keith enjoyed wood working, fishing, and restoring trucks and cars.
Survivors include his sons, Todd (Rhonda) DeBlieck, Tim (Leah Gustafson) DeBlieck, all of Geneseo; daughter, Tracey (Robert) Blair, Edgewood, IL; Tracey’s family and Keith’s granddaughter, Nichole (Ryan) Davis, Indianapolis, IN with great grandsons, Keegan, Jace and Gunnar; Todd’s family Bryon Talbot, Cathlamet, WA and his children Riley and Kaitlynn, Derick (Melissa) Talbot, Cambridge and their children, Christopher, Dakota, and Andrew, and Trista (Matt) McMan, Colona and their daughter, Summer; Tim’s family Edythe (Anthony) Johnson, Geneseo and their children, Foster and Korionna, and Raymond Gustafson, Geneseo; sister, Barb (Harry) Olsen. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Janet.
