Judy I. Williams, 70, of Cambridge, died Thursday, January 30, 2014, at Good Samaritan Village, Geneseo. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 8th at the Osco Community Church. Rev. Paul Benevides will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Judy Williams Memorial Fund. Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services, Cambridge, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Judy Behunin was born April 24, 1943 in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Leslie and Juanita (Ortega) Behunin. She was raised in Utah on a farm and was surrounded by many talented musicians in her family. She moved to California when she was nine years old and graduated from North High School in Torrance. Judy worked as a data entry operator for Orange County Keypunch in California for several years. She enjoyed riding horses and was an excellent seamstress, making many dolls, blankets, and clothes.
Those surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Lisa and Daniel Uhlry, Cambridge, Virginia Reed, Cambridge, a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Sharon Evans, Redondo Beach, CA, a step-daughter, Nancy (Gary) Nagle, Mesa, AZ, nine grandchildren, Kenny (Cynthia) O’Dell, Katie (Kolby) Hilton, Amanda Smith, Joshua Uhlry, Tawny Reed, Trevor Reed, Tori Reed, Jacob Evans, and Olivia Evans, and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Leslie “Buddy Merrill” Behunin, Jr., Wildomar, CA and Monnie Behunin, Amarillo, TX. Her parents and a sister, Gloria Jean Williams preceded her in death.
