John Andrews, Jr

John A. Andrews, Jr., 75, of Geneseo, died Friday, November 13, 2009 at Hillcrest Home, Geneseo. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, November 16th at Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services, 225 E. Park St. Geneseo. Deacon Harley Chaffee will officiate. Visitation will be held Monday before the service from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November, 17th at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to John Andrew’s Jr. Memorial Fund.

Jack was born May 20, 1934, in Geneseo, the son of John A. and Floris E. (Wilson) Andrews, Sr. He graduated from Geneseo High School in 1952, and attended Valporaiso College and then graduated from Augustana College, Rock Island. He was united in marriage on July 10, 1959 to Helene Deleyn in Mt Holy, NJ. She died June 15, 2008. Jack was a regional sales manager for Pfizer Genetics, DeKalb, IL. He was a member of the Geneseo Moose Lodge #990 and a former member of the Geneseo Country Club. He loved to golf.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Dean and Kelly Andrews, Forest Lake, MN, Shane and Marie Andrews, White Bear Lake, MN, and Jarrod and Melinda Andrews, Salida, CA; nine grandchildren, Cody, Karlie, Cory, Collin, Anthony, Jarrod, Jack, Sam, and McKenna; and three sisters and brothers-in-law, Corrine and Don Buysse, Kewanee, Marlene Shaff, Acworth, GA, and Susan and Bob Butler, Memphis, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
