Jerry Jones

Jerry L. Jones, 70, of Galesburg, formerly of Galva, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at Rosewood Care Center of Galesburg. Cremation has been accorded and a private family inurnment service will be held at a later date. Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services, Galva, is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Jerry was born May 1, 1942 in Kewanee, the son of Glenn H. and Mildred L. Grant Jones. He was educated in Galva schools and attended Galva High School. He was employed at Butler Manufacturing in Galesburg and also worked as a self employed painter. He was an avid pool player and enjoyed fishing and playing cards.

Those surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Guy "Jeep" and Gretchen Jones, Cambridge, a nephew, Dwain "Harv" (Sandy) Jones, Cambridge, two nieces, Gail (Brian) Kenney, Galva, and Barbara (C.J.) Ramage, Danville, KY. His parents preceded him in death.
