James Kenneth Loving, 76, of Altona, died Wednesday, September 12, 2018, in the emergency room of OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg. Cremation has been accorded and there will be no local services. His cremated remains will be buried in the City Cemetery, Paris, Tennessee at a later date. Stackhouse-Moore Funeral & Cremation Services, Galva, is assisting the family with the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family.
James was born September 21, 1941 in Paris, Tennessee, the son of Crawford and Corrine Briesendine Loving. He was educated in Paris schools and later earned a Masters of Business Administration degree. He worked for Warner Brothers in California for several years. He then became a property manager for a commercial apartment building, before moving to Altona.
Those surviving are his domestic partner, Pamela Kogan, three children, six grandchildren, and two nephews. His parents and a brother, Bobby Dixon, preceded him in death.
