Jacquelyn "Jacki" Klawonn

Jacquelyn J. "Jacki" Klawonn, 66, of rural Cambridge, died Sunday, May 6, 2018, at  home surrounded by her loving family.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 11th, at the Cambridge Chapel of Stackhouse-Moore Funeral & Cremation Services.  Rev. Les Zook will officiate.  Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Cremation will take place after the service.  Memorials may be made to the Jacki Klawonn Memorial Fund

Jacquelyn Jeanne Clark was born September 25, 1951 in Geneseo, the daughter of Everett "Bud" and Rosalie Reed Clark.  She was educated in Cambridge schools and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1969.  Jacki then attended the Sterling School of Cosmetology graduating in 1970.  Her marriage to Merwin "Mert" Klawonn took place on June 5, 1976 in Cambridge.

Her memberships included the Cambridge United Methodist Church and the Henry County Farm Bureau.  She was the owner/operator of a beautician business in Cambridge for 37 years.  Jacki was also employed at Triple "E" Sales in Orion and the Andover branch of Central Bank.  She loved to spend time with family and friends and her grand dogs.  Her favorite pastime was junking for which she became known as "Junkin' Jacki".

Those surviving are her husband, Mert, a son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Kelsey Klawonn, Lynn Center, a sister and brother-in-law, Teri and Stan Erdmann, Coal Valley, nephews, Travis Erdmann and Kyle and Jamie Erdmann, and great nephews, Eric and Trey Erdmann, all of Coal Valley.  Other survivors include aunts, Lovadee Gunnerson, Andover, Alyce "Babe" Newell, Geneseo, and extra special friends, Arleta Medley, Casandra Schmoll, Roselyn Maeltzer, and Maria Zulma Cardona.  Her mother preceded her in death in 1954 and her father in 1992, and her grandparents, Willis "Bill" and Bertha Reed, who helped raise her, also preceded her.
