Isabelle Young

Isabelle R. Young, 85, of Cambridge, passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021, at Hillcrest Home, rural Geneseo.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 10th, at the Cambridge United Methodist Church.  Rev. Jim Aniol will officiate.  Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Cambridge.  Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Cambridge Chapel of Stackhouse-Moore Funeral & Cremation Services.  Memorials may be made to the Cambridge Fire Department or the Cambridge Ambulance Service.

Isabelle Roberta Kapple was born February 27, 1935 in Cambridge, the daughter of James P. and Blanche O. Broline Kapple.  She was educated in Cambridge schools and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1953.  Her marriage to Ray Young took place on November 1, 1958 at the Cambridge United Methodist Church.  She had worked for Swan & Bahnsen Drug Store at the fountain for three years before becoming a fulltime homemaker. Isabelle was a member of the Cambridge United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.  Her hobbies were baking, traveling, and taking care of her cats..

Those surviving are her husband, Ray, a daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Ed Dole, Cambridge, a sister and brothers-in-law, Linda and Ron Brodd, Cambridge, and Jerry DeBaillie, Orion.  Her parents and two sister, Eberta Stach and Laura DeBaillie, preceded her in death.
