Helen B. Edwards, 93, of Geneseo died Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Good Samaritan Village, Geneseo. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 29th at First Lutheran Church, Geneseo. Rev. Dr. Arthur Bergren will officiate. Burial will be in North Cemetery, Geneseo. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services, 225 E. Park St., Geneseo. Memorials may be made to Geneseo Senior Citizens Center or First Lutheran Church, Geneseo.
Helen Moline was born December 25, 1916 in Geneseo, IL, the daughter of August and Marie (Johnson) Moline. She married Joseph Edwards on September 24, 1940 in Iowa. He died on October 18, 1983. Helen spent many years volunteering at the Geneseo Community Center delivering meals for them. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include son, Larry (Jane) Edwards, Ft. Myers, FL; daughter, Lynette (Gary) Hull, Geneseo; and son, Lanny (Karen) Edwards, Colona; grandchildren, Shelly (John) Masi, Joe (Maria) Edwards, Chris (Heather) Hull, Brad Hull, Megan Hull, Cory (Brent) Bogen, and Nick Edwards; and great grandchildren Jessica and Nick Masi, Jake, and Gracie VanQuakebeke, and Lillian Hull. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; brothers, Lester and Clarence Moline; and a sister in infancy.
