Everett C. Pinnick, Jr., 87, of rural Cambridge died at his home on Tuesday, September 8, 2015. Family graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15th at National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Procession will gather at 10 a.m. at Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services, Cambridge to travel to cemetery. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or for Disabled American Veterans
Everett was born May 15, 1928 in Cambridge, IL the son of Everett Sr. and Virginia (Talbot) Pinnick. He had served in the U.S. Navy from 1946 to 1947. He then served in the U.S. Air Force from 1948 until 1952 having served in Korea. Everett married Jean Swager on April 16, 1955 in Mississippi and she survives.
Everett had retired from John Deere Plow and Planter, Moline. He was a member of Geneseo V.F.W. and had been a member of Geneseo Moose Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and bowling.
Survivors include his wife, children, Ace, Cambridge, Kathy Plumb, Cambridge, Randy (Carolyn), Kewanee, Terry (Tina) Imperial Beach, CA, and Stan, San Jose, CA. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. His parents, two brothers and a granddaughter proceeded him in death.
