Elsie B. Little, 92, of Geneseo died on Monday, December 19, 2016 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport, IA.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at First United Methodist Church, Geneseo.  Rev. Dr. Christopher Ritter will officiate.  Burial will be in North Cemetery, Geneseo with military honors by Geneseo V.F.W.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church.  Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Building Fund or The Geneseo Food Pantry Building Fund.  Stackhouse-Moore Funeral & Cremation Services, Geneseo is assisting the family with arrangements.

Elsie Bossola was born on April 5, 1924 in Herminie, Pennsylvania the daughter of Frank Louis and Teresa (Buso) Bossola.  Elsie served in the U.S. Marine Corp during W.W. II.  She married Jack A. Little on Feb. 1, 1946 in New Bern, NC.  He died on Feb. 28, 1992.  Elsie worked in Civil Service as a Personnel Specialist retiring from Rock Island Arsenal in 1973.

Memberships include First United Methodist Church, Geneseo, and the United Methodist Women of the church, as well as the American Legion Auxiliary, and Geneseo Moose.  She was a former member of the Geneseo Country Club.  She enjoyed golfing, dancing, reading, and playing cards.

Elsie is survived by a sister, Mary Pelino, Pittsburg, PA; as well as a special nephew and wife, Bill and Jean Campbell; niece, Ann Marie Campbell; and many more special nieces and nephews; a special adopted family, Pat Hosveldt and her daughters, Debbie, Sherie, and Dawn.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a sister Enes Edwards; and special nephew, Bob Campbell.
