Edith F. Fronk, 73, of Annawan, died Thursday, May 12, 2011, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 17th, at Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services, Annawan. Rev. Terry Lancaster will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Annawan Township. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Annawan Alba Rescue Squad.
The former Edith F. Blodgett was born August 1, 1937, in Kewanee, IL, the daughter of William and Mayble (Wright) Blodgett. She was united in marriage to Lloyd L. Fronk on July 15, 1966. He died December 23, 2000. Edith was a homemaker and she enjoyed gardening, flowers, canning, making jam, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her six children, Pam (Pat) Mills, Kewanee, Marie Petty, Kewanee, Mark Schwigen, Kewanee, Roxanne Schwigen, Brownsville, IL, Lloyd (Debra) Fronk, Jr., Annawan, and Vicki Krantz, Annawan; thirteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and five sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Tina; an infant daughter; four brothers; and two sisters.
