Dora Schuyf, 90, formerly of Neponset, a resident of Hillcrest Home, rural Geneseo died there on Sunday,  May 31, 2015.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 4th at Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services, 339 E. Chestnut St., Sheffield, IL.  Burial will be in West Neponset Cemetery, Neponset.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to UMW at Neponset United Methodist Church.

Dora Wheeler was born August 22, 1924 in Albia, Iowa the daughter of Grover Cleveland and Reatha (Riller) Wheeler.  She married Willard Stabler on June 12, 1942.  He died in May 1960.  She later married Raymond E. Schuyf on April 24, 1964 in Sheffield.  He died on April 27, 2008.

Dora was a member of Neponset United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.  She had also been a member of Hidden Lake Country Club, Sheffield.  Dora was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bulls fan. She was also an avid bridge player.  She was famous for her filled cupcakes.

Survivors include four daughters, Connie (Bob) Bennett, Neponset, Sally (Larry) Hansen, Neponset, Julie (Brian) Wager, Sheffield and Jenny (Jim) Densberger, Geneseo.  Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren, Tony, Terry, and Tim Bennett, Paul, Scott, and Kim Hansen, Shawn Wager, Justin and Jordan Densberger, Tammy Hartman, Kelly and Karen Hechtner, Heather Nimrick, and Heidi Hornback; 18 great grandchildren; a sister, Darlene King, Avoleen, TX; and special nieces, Debra Schlosser and Rita Hanna.  Dora was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, daughter, Marilyn Foresman, and brother, Jonny Wheeler.
