Donna Stahl

Donna M. Stahl, 84, of Cambridge, died Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Good Samaritan Village, Geneseo. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 20th, at the Cambridge Chapel of Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services. Rev. Steve Kettelkamp will officiate. Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery, Kewanee. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Cambridge Park Program.

Donna M. Roberts was born February 8, 1927 in Burns Township, Henry County, Illinois, the daughter of Everett and Lola Schreck Roberts. She was educated in the Burns Township rural school and graduated from Wethersfield High School in 1945. Her marriage to Nels Howard “Hob” Stahl took place on August 18, 1946 in Kewanee. He died May 27, 2001. She was a member of Burns Grange and a past member of Valley View Country Club, Cambridge. Donna enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, playing Mexican Train Dominoes, golfing, and euchre.

Those surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Joyce Stahl and Larry and Wanda Stahl, all of Cambridge, two daughters and a son-in-law, Kathy Stahl, Cambridge, Lori and Kevin Johnson, Woodstock, IL, seven grandchildren and (spouses), Adam (Alison) Stahl, Arizona, Aaron Stahl, Moline, Lana (Darren) McDonough, Lonny (Naomi) Stahl, Brandon (Chantelle) Johnson, all of Cambridge, and Blake and Katelyn Johnson, Woodstock, IL. Other survivors include great grandchildren, Marissa Stahl, Olivia, Drake, and Gavin McDonough, Colton and Carmen Stahl, Caden and Lucas Johnson, a sister, Shirley Allard, Kewanee, several nieces and nephews, and special friends, the “Cambridge Mafia”. Her parents, and her husband, Howard “Hob” Stahl preceded her in death.
