Dawn M. Corrinne, 66, of Geneseo died on Friday, February 10, 2017 at UnityPoint Health Trinity, Rock Island. Celebration of life services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 17th at First Lutheran Church, Geneseo. Rev. Matthew Kamprath will officiate. Inurnment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Geneseo. Memorial visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at Stackhouse-Moore Funeral & Cremation Services, 225 E. Park St. Geneseo. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
Dawn Marie Bagger was born May 14, 1950 in Chicago the daughter of Virgil and Jacqueline (Norton) Bagger. She graduated from Bogan High School in Chicago before attending Northland College, Ashland; WI. She received a bachelor degree from Western Illinois University.
Dawn was a generous spirit. She loved helping people whether through her work at Moline High School or later at Partner’s in Job Training or in her church at First Lutheran Church, Moline where she had been active in the music department, singing in the choir for many years. She was also very artistic especially in sewing, quilting and cooking. She loved to make things or food for others to enjoy.
Dawn is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Tina & Justin Griffin, Streamwood, IL and Diane and Lynn Buck, Romeoville, IL; two grandchildren, Ann Griffin and Connor Griffin; brother, Richard Smith, Seattle, WA and many cousins. Her parents and brother Donald Bagger preceded her in death.
