Bradley D. Kruger, 47, of Cambridge, died Saturday, September 13, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 18 th , at the Cambridge United Methodist Church. Rev. David Joyce and Rev. Randy Sizemore will officiate. Burial will be at Rosedale Cemetery, Cambridge. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Cambridge Chapel of Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services. Memorials may be made to the Brad Kruger Memorial Fund.
Brad was born May 7, 1967 in Kewanee, the son of Donald and Verna (Miller) Kruger. He graduated from Cambridge High School in 1985. He married Jennifer Siebke on August 19, 1995 in Cambridge. Brad attended Spartan Aeronautics School in Tulsa, OK, completing his training in 1990. He worked for several years for DeDecker Pork Farms in Cambridge and then was employed at Olympic Steel in Bettendorf, retiring in October 2010. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, and God’s creation. Brad was a hard worker who was always willing to lend a helping hand. His larger than life personality touched everyone he met.
Those surviving are two daughters, Amanda Kruger and Ashley Kruger of Cambridge, one sister, Wendy (Emilio) Biagiotti, Greenwich, CT, two brothers Mitch (Mikki) Kruger, Buda, IL, and Brent (Julie) Kruger, Dixon, IL, and his parents, Don and Verna Kruger, Andover, IL. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
