Beverly Riordan

Beverly “Bev” Ann Riordan, 73, of Andover, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 9, 2010, at home, surrounded by her family. Private funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 13th, at the Cambridge Chapel of Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services. Rev. Don Goembel will officiate. Burial will be in Andover Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Beverly Riordan Memorial Fund.

The former Beverly Oneyear was born November 25, 1936 in Dubuque, IA, the daughter of Harold and Anna Bates Oneyear. She was educated in Dubuque schools. Her marriage to Donald Riordan, Sr. took place on September 5, 1964 in Rock Island. Bev enjoyed having coffee with friends at the Andover Cafe and Skello’s. She took great pride in her grandchildren. She also loved to joke around and share about Jesus.

Survivors include her loving husband, Donald, sons and daughters-in-law, Archie Carpenter, Des Moines, IA, Ron and Katy Riordan, Maquoketa, IA, Jerry and Beth Riordan, Davenport, Donald and Carrie Riordan II, Cambridge, and a daughter and son-in-law, Lonnie and Harold Wood, Oxford Junction, IA. Other survivors include her grandchildren, Jason, Jaclyn, Sidney, Kody, Chelsey, Alexandria, Gabrielle, James, Archie, Ron Jr., Chris, Josh, Jeremy, Tasha, Arther, Andrea, Trisha, Beth, Alex, a sister, Tina Hessel, Dubuque, IA, and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her parents, a son, Dick, three sisters, two brothers, and a great grandson preceded her in death.
