Berneice Warfield

Berneice M. Warfield, 80, of Geneseo died on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Hillcrest Home, Geneseo.  Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 2nd at the Grandview Cemetery, rural Atkinson.  Deacon Harley Chaffee will officiate.  Stackhouse-Moore Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.

Berneice Marie VanVooren was born April 2, 1939 in Thomas, IL the daughter of Edward and Zulma Marie (Boelens) VanVooren.  She graduated from Geneseo High School.  On June 10, 1977 she married Gary Warfield in Prophetstown, IL.  He died on February 9, 1993.

Survivors include a son, Kevin Paxton; grandson Joshua Ryan Paxton; sister Mary Jane (Dennis) Crane; and a brother James (Lynn) VanVooren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son, Steven, and brother Bob.
