Ann Louise Rehn was born December 6, 1938 in Moline the daughter of J. Raymond and Mabel M. Peterson Rehn. She was educated in Osco and Orion schools and graduated from Orion High School in 1956. She was united in marriage to her soul mate, Wayne French, on July 23, 1960 in Andover, IL. Ann was a graduate of Illinois State University in Normal, IL. She taught elementary school in Barrington and Chicago Heights before spending the majority of her career at C.R. Hanna School in Orion. Ann retired to become a “Super Grandma”. She was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church, Andover.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne; daughters and sons-in-law, Dana Ann and Ron Rogers, East Moline, Jill Renee and Brian Cerny, Downers Grove; six grandchildren, Kimber Ann Rogers, Raymond Gale Rogers, Dustin Joseph Cerny, Chloe Renee Cerny, Maxie Grace Rogers, and Haley Danielle Cerny. Other survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Sally Rehn, Osco, and sister-in-law, Jean Rehn, Alpha. She was preceded in death by her parents and eldest brother Dr. J. Wayne Rehn.
