Amy M. Johnson, 40, of Kewanee, died Saturday, December 24, 2016, at OSF St. Luke Medical Center in Kewanee. Cremation has been accorded and there will be a memorial visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, December 30th, at the Cambridge Chapel of Stackhouse-Moore Funeral & Cremation Services. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.
Amy Marie Johnson was born November 24, 1976 in Geneseo, the daughter of Todd & Diana (Brown) Johnson. She was educated in Geneseo and graduated from the J.D. Darnall High School in 1995. She received her associates degree in business management from the Stanford Business College. Amy was a homemaker and enjoyed painting and selling rocks at area flea markets. She loved crocheting, training horses, and spending time with her granddaughter, and her nieces and nephews
Those surviving are a son, Lucas Johnson, Cambridge, a daughter, Dallas Weis, Kewanee, a granddaughter, Bailey-Ann Weis, Kewanee, her parents, Todd and Diana Johnson, Cambridge, grandparents, Christine Keim, Geneseo, Leo and Elizabeth Johnson, East Moline, and, two sisters, Chasity (Nicholas) Brown, Kewanee, Nicole (Nicholas) Catour, Cambridge, and a brother, Todd R. (Kaley) Johnson, Jr., Cambridge. Other survivors include three nieces, Kalynn, Kylie, and Emily, and four nephews, Payton, Ryle, Byron, and Collin. Her grandfather, Wendell Keim, and longtime friend, Duane Weis, preceded her in death.
