Christopher Darling

Christopher M. Darling, 58, formerly of Geneseo died on Monday, October 24, 2022, at the DuBois Group Home in Galesburg, IL.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, Oct.  29th at North Cemetery, Geneseo.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  Stackhouse-Moore Funeral & Cremation Services, Geneseo is assisting the family with arrangements.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Izaak Walton League of America Geneseo Chapter.

Chris was born August 1, 1964, in Geneseo, IL the son of Vaughn and Reta (McMeen) Darling.  He graduated from Geneseo High School.  Chris worked mowing lawns, shoveling snow, doing odd jobs, and helping others when he was able.   He loved his cat, “Fluffy” and everything Marilyn McVietty did for him.  He also loved fishing and camping.

Christopher was preceded in death by his parents, Vaughn and Reta Darling, and his brother, Trent.  He is survived by his niece Nicole Darling, Jacksonville, IL and sister-in-law, Kristi Darling, Canton, IL.  He is also survived by Aunts, an Uncle, and several cousins.
