(Carolyn) Sue Prine

Carolyn Sue. Prine, 71, of Cambridge died on Friday, November 18, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Cremation rites will be accorded.  Memorials may be made to her family to help with expenses.  Stackhouse-Moore Funeral & Cremation Services, Cambridge is assisting the family.

Sue was born June 14, 1951, in Rock Island County, Illinois the daughter of Robert and Margaret “Marge”  (VanderLinden) Young.  She graduated from United Township High School East Moline.  Sue had been the head cook at the Deck Restaurant in Geneseo for many years and then as a CNA at Hillcrest Nursing Home.  Sue enjoyed playing bingo and then spending time with her grandkids.

Survivors include her daughter, Stacy (Joe) Dykema, Kewanee, and son, Noel (Emily) Powers, Cambridge; 3 grandchildren, Ashley Dykema (Justin Kelly), Liam Powers and Skylynn Powers; and a great-granddaughter, Gema Kelly.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three brothers.
