Bryan Duane Leverette

Bryan D. Leverette, 43, of Kewanee, died Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Mercy One Hospital in Clinton, Iowa from injuries received in a motorcycle accident earlier that evening near Savanna, Illinois.  Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 5th, at the Cambridge Chapel of Stackhouse-Moore Funeral & Cremation Services.  A graveside committal service will be held after the visitation in Rosedale Cemetery, Cambridge.  Memorials may be made to the Bryan Leverette Memorial Fund.

Bryan Duane Leverette was born October 27, 1977 in Geneseo, the son of James F. and Beverly M. Armstrong Leverette.  He was educated in Kewanee schools.  His marriage to Kristin Simmons took place on June 26, 2021 in Annawan.  Bryan was a truck driver and worked for Schnowske By Products, Cambridge, Nanninga Trucking, Mineral, and he was currently working for Quality Trucking in Colona.

He was a wonderful father to all his children and was always there to help anyone who needed it.  Bryan enjoyed riding his motorcycle, painting, tattooing, fishing, hunting, and spending time with friends and family.  He has a smile that could melt the most sour attitude.

Those surviving are his wife, Kristin, Kewanee, six daughter, Brittany Leverette (Cody), Geneseo, Savannah Janis, Peoria, Shawna (Skyler), Moline, Canace (Ryan), Manito, IL, Kindra (Boston), Green Valley, IL, and Madisonblu, Stropes, Kewanee, three son, Kyle (Angela) Stear, Peoria, Jerry (Phoenix) Stropes, Jr., Kewanee, and Justin Stropes, Kewanee, 12 grandchildren, and three step grandchildren.  Other survivors include his mother, Beverly Armstrong, Atkinson, four sisters, Lisa Leverette, Shelbyville, TN, Wanda Overcast, Shelbyville, TN, Rhonda Sandavol, Goodlettesville, TN, Lesa Ayala, Shelbyville, TN, three brothers, Jeff (Amanda) Armstrong, Geneseo, Joe Leverette, Unionville, TN, and Tracy Leverette, Shelbyville, TN.  His father, a sister, Teresa Greggs, two brother, Jerry Wayne Leverette, and Tommy Leverette, an uncle, Jake Armstrong, and four grandchildren preceded him in death.
