Yes. We have been serving the families of Henry and Bureau Counties for over 74 years. We have faced many difficult situations in that time and continue to care for loved ones no matter what the difficulty might be. Covid-19 does present some unique challenges but our Funeral Directors are here to help you through your time of need.
You can call us for 24 hours a day 7 days a week and 365 days a year assistance. We can still set-up appointments to meet with you at any of our facilities if needed. We do discourage walk-in meetings at this time but would encourage you to give us a phone call to set-up an appointment if you would like to talk with one of our Funeral Directors in person.
If a death has occurred or is imminent, we are deeply sorry for your loss. As always, Stackhouse Moore Funeral and Cremation Services should be one of your very first phone calls. We will be able to take care of your loved one no matter what the circumstances or where the place of death is. You can reach us at 1-800-422-5541 or any of our location phone numbers.
Yes. While bodies, in most cases, may be viewed either embalmed or not embalmed for immediate family, we would restrict viewing of a Covid-19 death to embalmed body only due to the health risk of our staff and your loved ones.
If the death is from other than Covid-19, we will continue to make available to immediate family the ability to view their loved one either embalmed or not embalmed.
Without the ability for public services, many of you will question how to get your memorials/sympathy cards to a family. In today's world, finding an address for someone is often difficult. While we cannot disclose the address of family members without their permission, we will always forward those condolences to them.
You may send any condolences/memorials to our business office at:
Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services Attn: (Insert Family Name) PO Box 269 Geneseo IL 61254
Please use this business address for any of our locations.
